The Napa Valley of The South
/I woke up yesterday and looked out the window and it looked beautiful. Oh, I was fooled. The wind was blowing at a rate of 20-25 mph and the temperature was freezing! Today, the story was different. I hopped out of bed, cooked breakfast and drank tea and just glanced out the window. The sun was shining bright and Mother Nature finally got herself together. Geezzzz! I thought to myself, "I should go to the vineyards today and let the wine warm me up!"
And it happened. Off to North Georgia I go and the views were spectacular. I enjoy the vineyards in this area because they are very close to home. Where in the South can you drive to see 6-7 vineyards within 10 minutes from each other? Ummmm, nowhere. If you are in Georgia or the boarding states, visit this area for a Southern treat. Start your tour at Frogtown Cellars, go up the street and sip at Three Sister and then head to Wolf Mountain.
